Graph Machine Learning Tutorials
- Learning on Graphs (LoG) Conference
- LoG is an annual research conference that covers areas broadly related to machine learning on graphs and geometry. There is a proceedings track and a non-archival extended abstract track.
- During the conference, scientists in academia and industry organize a series of tutorials on the latest topics in graph machine learning.
- Please reach out if you are interested in leading or participating in a LoG tutorial!
- Towards Precision Medicine with Graph Representation Learning
- Lecture by Michelle Li and Marinka Zitnik
- Hosted at the 30th International Conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology
- Deep learning for biomedical networks: Methods, challenges, and frontiers
- Lecture by Michelle Li and Marinka Zitnik
- Hosted at the Broad Institute’s Models, Inference, and Algorithms Meetings
Mentored Research Programs
- London Geometry and Machine Learning (LOGML) Summer School
- LOGML is a two-week summer school for graduate students with interests in geometry and/or machine learning to work on a group research project.
- Group projects are led by mentor(s) who are experts on a specific topic in geometry and/or machine learning.
- In addition to group projects, there are talks by leading figures in the field, a variety of social events, and a company networking night.
- Machine Learning for Health (ML4H)
- ML4H is an annual symposium that brings together machine learning researchers, clinicians, and healthcare data experts.
- ML4H offers three distinct mentorship programs to support individuals at various stages of their careers in machine learning and healthcare.
- Journal of Emerging Investigators (JEI)
- JEI is an open-access journal that publishes original research in the biological and physical sciences that is written by middle and high school students.
- JEI provides students, under the guidance of a teacher or advisor, the opportunity to submit and gain feedback on original research and to publish their findings in a peer-reviewed scientific journal
STEM Outreach Programs
- Reroot STEM
- Reroot STEM hosts free workshops, seminars, and resources to students across the globe who are interested in pursuing a research career in STEM.
- Women in Data Science (WiDS) Cambridge
- WiDS Cambridge is an annual one-day conference hosted by MIT, Harvard, and Microsoft New England. It features an all-female lineup of speakers and panelists from academia and industry to discuss the latest research in data science.
- Please visit Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide for communities and events near you.
- Harvard College Women in STEM (WiSTEM)
- Harvard Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (HGWISE)
